Record sleeves:
The printers that I used sent me two record sleeves, one white one with a hole cut out on each side and an orange one with a sticker on each side of the graphic that I designed for the record. However they were not what I wanted as the circles of the white sleeve did not match up with the circle on my front cover. I also didn't like the orange sleeve as I specifically wanted the cut out circles so that you can see my strategy manual and record through the circles to give off the feel of a real record. Therefore I contacted the printers again and asked for an orange sleeve with cut out circles.

As this module focus on Northern soul and Sheffield street style I researched the Northern Soul scene in Sheffield during the 1970s and today. Concept Moodboard

The concept of the shoot is a brother and sister visiting their favourite locations and stores in and around Sheffield to showcase family, whilst including references to Northern Soul and Sheffield street style through the places we visit and the garments we wear. As the brother and sister in the shoot is going to be myself and my brother we are going to visit our favourite street art locations as they are a big element of Sheffield and why we like the city. We are also going to visit our favourite vintage stores, Mooch Vintage and Vulgar Vintage as we both personally love to source our fashion from vintage stores and this is also a big trend around Sheffield and Sheffield street style and a popular trend in general. We are also going to visit Bear Tree Records as my brother in particular likes to collect music on records and we can include Northern Soul music references from here.
